Earlier this week the team at Nadeau’s Ice Sculptures in Forest Park,  put the finishing touches on the  30 sculptures scheduled to line Ottawa’s downtown streets on Saturday, for the Ottawa Downtown Merchants Association’s  Ice Odyssey.

The 2nd Annual event is being held Saturday  December 11, 2010 with family friendly events planned for the entire day.

The Holiday Bazaar begins at 8am – 4pm

The Christmas Farmers Market ( 807 Building) 8 am -4pm

Live Reindeer ( east Madison St) 10 am -2pm

Carriage Rides ( Washington Park) 10am -2pm

Picture with Christmas Mascots & Santa  10am – 3pm

Live Ice Sculpting ( East Madison St.) 11am – 2pm

We are Ottawa Photos Shoot ( 725 LaSalle St) 11am – 3pm

YMCA Winter Carnival ( 201 E. Jackson St) 11am – 3pm

CHOAS Make It Take It Ornaments ( Columbus St) 11am – 3pm

YMCA is holding a Chili Cook-off during the Ice Odyssey … come sample some great tasting chili , $ 3.00 to sample ALL PROCEEDS go to Partners in Youth

Beautiful Downtown Ottawa welcomes both friends and neighbors to come celebrate creativity and wonder. This holiday event  is family focused so bring the kids and bring your camera because it’s up to Mother Nature just how long the creative ice sculptures will be here to enjoy.

Starved Rock Country is known for its family focused environment and beautiful Christmas wonder.
