Riverfest 2011

Ottawa’s Riverfest is not only one of the largest festivals in the area  there is a bounty of things to do regardless of your age. The Founder’s Day Picnic is Tues Aug 2nd  and Welcomeburger ( an area tradition) is Wednesday Aug 3rd in   Washington Square Park, Downtown Ottawa  from  5 – 8 PM

The carnival begins Wednesday night as well from 6 -11pm.

If shopping is your thing you will love the downtown sidewalk sales on Thursday from 10am – 4pm

For the kiddies there is the Paddle Boat Races and Kids’ Fishing Rodeo…Where the Fox and Illinois Rivers Meet from  5 – 7 PM

“Taste of Ottawa” kicks off on Thursday and runs through the weekend on the Northwest Side of Veterans Memorial Bridge (Ottawa Riverfront)
beginning on Thursday from 5 PM – 12 AM
