New to Boating or feeling a little rusty on the RULES of the RIVER?


Instructed By US Coast Guard Auxiliary

Hosted at Quest Watersports/Heritage Harbor Ottawa Corporate Offices,

1851 Old Chicago Road – Ottawa,  IL  61350

April 16, 2011  8:30am – 4:30pm

Cost $30 per person/$15 per child when they share book with parent.

This course includes instruction in equipment requirements, navigation rules, legal requirements, accident situations and how to handle them. The weather, registration, trailering, visual distress signals, personal watercraft and specialty topics will be covered. A Certification exam will be taken at the end of the day.


All adolescents age 14 to 16 year  MUST have a certificate to operate a Personal Watercraft (JetSki).  Also a certificate from this class may qualify you for a discount on your insurance.
