From the Holding Tank
Although not new to boating, I have never locked through on a river system. Today I had the opportunity to accompany Captain Moe on the river as he prepared for his “Locking Through” seminar. I found the experience highly informative and encourage all boaters, especially new boaters to attend this seminar. You won’t be disappointed.

Marina Blessing
Father Kipfer from St. Columba Church in Ottawa was out this past weekend for the Marina Blessing. He spent time on the docks with HHO guests blessing individual boats and some of our furry friends. Let’s all have a safe boating season.
Courtesy Charge System
HHO Marina is extending its courtesy charge system to guests dining at Crawdad’s Bar & Grill. Just see a marina staff member and complete the required form. All purchases will be tallied daily and charged to your account. For your protection, individual information is kept strictly confidential.

Reminders
* Look for more information about our new “Boat & Breakfast” amenity.
* Dock hands were forced to locate and return hydrobikes to their slips this past weekend. Bikes must be reserved through the marina office and returned to their slip after each unit. We ask for guest’s cooperation in this matter.
* All empty trailers must be stored in the south parking lot.
* Herman’s is still delivering to HHO, depending on store delivery staff.
*Electric meters were read June 1. Look for invoices later this month.
