As the boating season comes to an end and the boaters start to pull out for the season I think we should say thanks to the talented and amazing marina dock hands.
During the summer the dock hands can be seen pulling in boats, pumping gas, running for ice … or just about anything else the Heritage Harbor Marina boaters need. It is a full time job; however, the staff always has a smile on their faces and a ” How Can I help You ” attitude. It’s this helpful, can-do attitude that makes our marina stand out from the rest.
Tiffany is one of Heritage Harbor Marina’s dock hands.
Tiffany , although only 16, can pull in a boat like no body’s buisness. Be it big or small, Tiffany can guide you into your slip or to fill your boat with fuel carefully and professionally.
Problem solving is another trait of our dear Tiffany. Recently, when a boater was unable to start the engine on their boat when attempting to pull the boat out of the water, Tiffany was there to help trailer the “dead” boat. When the boater realized that the prop was still down. Tiffany ran to the marina office to get the battery jump so that the prop could be raised without damage.
The Marina has so many people who are responsible for making your experience a great one, but you really don’t notice everything they do until you need them.
A full service marina… just another great part of the adventure lifestyle at Heritage Harbor Ottawa!
